An original one hour dramatic series adapted from the stage play, Back to the Old Landmark.

The stories revolve around people from various religious, economic and ethinic backgrounds who are rarely seen in mainstream television, but who have a story to be told and an eager audience waiting to hear their stories.

• Pastor Benjamin Theodore Jones, leader of a growing inner city Baptist church and community activist who has to deal with his own human frailties;
• Beth Ann Jones, his wife, a spiritually strong, but emotionally frustrated woman who struggles for her husband’s attention;
• Sister Sadie Harris, church secretary, who has ambitions of rising through the church ranks by any means necessary;
• Denise and Troy Bledsoe, mother and son, facing the battle of Troy’s drug addiction;
• Mae Dickerson struggling with alcoholism fueled by a traumatic episode in her adolesence and her son Nevada’s cycle of incarceration;
• Orlando Colondres, a drug dealer who probably should’ve gone to Harvard Business School, successfully putting a business face on his illicit dealings; and
• Nimrod Santiago, Orlando’s rival, who is determined to elbow his way into Orlando’s territory.
